UPSC Preliminary Results 2014: Check Results of Civil Services Preliminary Examination on upsc.gov.in
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) have declared the results of civil services on Tuesday. The preliminary examination was conducted on August 24, 2014. The results were announced on the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Candidates can check their result here-upsc.gov.in. Students will have to enter their details like name and roll number to check their results.
According to the notification from the official website, the UPSC main exam will be conducted on December 13. About 4.5 lakh candidates appeared for the entrance exam which was held at 2,137 test centres across 59 cities. UPSC main exam will be conducted on December 13 according to the notification.
Candidates who appeared for the civil services preliminary examination were required to attempt two papers of 200 marks each. The exam was a combination of objective-type multiple-choice questions. It included Paper I: General Studies, Paper II: General Aptitude. Negative marking was applicable in the exam. The Civil Services Exam is an All India exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment of graduates from all fields to the Civil Services covering twenty five different services under the Government of India.
